Hey, lets not mince words here. With as many retirees and transplants from New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia as we have in the Low Country, you’re not going to fool too many with average Italian fare. There are some great Italian restaurants in the area and Dolce Vita belongs on that list.
Executive Chef Joe Ventrice is a Jersey guy who knows what his guests like and executes perfectly. From a 6 hour braised veal bolognese to hand made pasts every single day, the flavor jumps off of your fork with every bite.
In the background, you’ll hear Sinatra coming through the speakers in the ceiling. Over on the other side, you’ll see guests sitting in high back booths enjoying a classic Italian meal. Much like a ton of other eateries in the Low Country, you’d have no idea you are in a strip shopping center in Bluffton. True story.
Dolce Vita Ristorante. On the weekends, they fill up pretty quick. Reservations highly recommended.
