Two Tides is well-known as one of the city’s best breweries, but this weekend is extra special as they are hosting a whole event to celebrate their 6th birthday.

All the fun stuff is happening THIS Saturday, the 11th.

People who love their beer should be excited about the very special new releases, including an imperial stout and a Double IPA in collaboration with Massachusetts-based Vitamin Sea Brewing.

This time, Two Tides went all out on their featured anniversary edition, Fluff Motif. Created in collaboration with Tripping Animals: This beer has notes of mango, passion fruit, pineapple, key lime, marshmallow, toasted almond, and vanilla. I instantly imagine toasting a vanilla bean marshmallow over a cozy fire when suddenly, some L.A. diva with her tropical smoothie spills it over my marshmallow. Delicious? Possibly…Give it a try for sure!

Beer not your thing? No problem. They will be offering their signature Slushies including fun flavors like piña colada and (appropriately) birthday cake! I’m super curious about the cake one.

For the cocktail lovers, there will be special cocktails featured at Smol Bar. This bar is locally famous for their seltzer cocktails. Super yummy without the instant punch of liquor, you know, to keep the party going for a bit longer.

You can start your celebration early. Coffee lovers should be excited with Two Tides featuring their very own Float coffee service. Beginning at 7am you can grab a breakfast sandwich and a frozen coffee, if that floats your boat. Hey, sometimes I have a “milkshake at 6am” kind of day. Those make the best kind of days.

But most interesting of all: Crispi, Two Tides smash burger trailer, will have a burger eating contest, celebrating their very own 1 year anniversary.

Oh Crispi burger, how I love thee? Let me count the ways… non-stop, for 20 minutes.

Crispi burger is often voted one of Savannah’s best burgers among locals: By word of mouth, in inner circles and in the Savannah Reddit community. But how much of a great burger is too much?

The entry fee is $50 and there are 15 spots available. The time limit is 20 minutes. To make up for that entry fee… I would say you need to eat at least 4 burgers… I wonder if these are full size burger or mini burgers. It would be so fun to be able to say “I ate 10 burgers in 20 minutes”.

Fun! Or scary. Just thinking about it makes me want to take a nap.

What is the prize? A free Crispi burger every month FOR LIFE. And other goodies, of course, to include a plaque with your photo displayed in their taproom. Crispi’s very first crowned Burger King (Or Queen).

Second place also gets a beer prize! They are nice like that. No crying while you sip your delicious beer, please.

To the future winner: Godspeed, my friend.

They promise to make this an annual event. But this year, the winner will reign solo, with all his or her burger devouring might.
You can sign up at their tent on Saturday at 12pm, but if you are worried about not getting a spot, you can arrive early to get on the list! Get yourself a Float coffee and start picturing yourself eating all the burgers.
That’s a sexy thought (maybe?)…

I am convinced this contest is going to be very fun to watch. Fabulous entertainment even if you don’t like beer or burgers. All of this happening to the amazing background tunes of VooDoo Soup and DJ Troy Stoner.

Lots of new merch will be released and for sale for the Two Tides fans! If I didn’t have so many of their fancy beer glasses already, I’d get myself more… obviously, too many glasses, not enough thirsty friends.

In addition, an array of local vendors will be set up. Two tides made sure to phone all their friends to come be part of their big day: Jewelry makers, Local artists, plant pop up, photo booth, a tie dye station, and kid friendly activities by Milk and Honey Play
Corn Hole, giant connect 4, Jenga and a temporary tattoo booth will be available for the kiddos, or the willing adults.

Who knows, with enough drinks in, even I could be convinced to rock a temporary tattoo on my forehead. #brightideas

It sounds like an amazing all day event for the whole family! As I said, the pregame starts at 7am with Float coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The event officially starts at noon and ends tentatively at 7pm, but this is Two Tides on a Saturday, so the taproom stops tapping around midnight.
