Oak 36 Bar and Kitchen is finally open after months of planning. The newest Midtown Savannah restaurant advertises itself as a casual and comfortable place to socialize and eat Southern-inspired dishes.
The spot inside the Twelves Oaks Shopping Center that Oak 36 now calls home formerly housed Pitcher’s, Leoci’s, and Sugo Rossa. The owners tell us they hope to satisfy the lunch crowd from the nearby hospitals with healthy options like quinoa bowls and wraps as well as tried and true favorites like chicken and waffles and burgers all overseen by chef Dusty Grove.
The restaurant will offer more than just good food, beer, and cocktails. There are still plans for live music, broadcast sporting events, karaoke, trivia, and guest DJs. According to their Facebook, they are working to include this entertainment while also following social distance guidelines.
Until then, you can enjoy lunch and dinner daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Happy Hour from 4 to 7 p.m.
