The hits just keep on coming for Bryan Furman and B’s Cracklin BBQ. The latest big news is the announcement that B’s Cracklin’ is opening a new location. This time inside a newly remodeled Kroger store adjacent to Ponce City Market, a retail/food hall located Midtown Atlanta.
The news was made public via B’s Cracklin Facebook page Tuesday afternoon, about six months after a fire destroyed their original Atlanta location. The Kroger location is not a replacement. These plans were in the works before the fire. The Kroger store officially will be located on the Beltline.
“Come get your BBQ fix!” the message read.
Despite the fire, it’s been an incredible year for the Furmans. Earlier this year, Bryan was named a Semi-finalist for a James Beard Award, America’s highest culinary honor. That exposure alone has meant a boom in business.
In April, Bryan was named one of 10 Best New Chefs in America by Food and Wine Magazine.
There are plans in the works for a new Atlanta location that will essentially serve as a replacement for the space they lost to fire, but that is down the line.
B’s Cracklin’ is also available at State Farm Arena, Home of the Atlanta Hawks and in Savannah on White Bluff Road.
The new location is scheduled to open October 16th.
