The Savannah Food & Wine Festival is excited to announce it newest event, Savor the Flavor, which will take place at Savannah Quarters® in Pooler, Georgia on Sunday, November 10 from 1 – 4 pm.
This moveable feast will be an opportunity to experience the festival outside of Savannah’s city limits. According to festival organizers, guests have been requesting events that are outside of the downtown area and closer to where people live – especially Pooler, GA. Many local festival attendees live in Pooler, Bluffton and Hilton Head Island, SC areas. Savannah Quarters® offers a beautiful backdrop and a central location that will be convenient for many, and hopefully attract some new guests that will want to see some beautiful model homes and appreciate the ease of access to this new festival event.
Local restaurants and chefs will be preparing culinary treats for guests to sample at each stop on the tour, along with a beverage sampling/pairing at each stop. Trolleys will shuttle guests between the seven stops, with the tour beginning at The Club at Savannah Quarters®, the community centerpiece which boasts a well-appointed clubhouse with meeting and dining rooms that overlook beautiful and expansive vistas of the award-winning Greg Norman Signature 18-hole golf course. Five decorated custom-built, model homes will be showcased on the tour, which are located in two neighborhoods within the Savannah Quarters®, luxury new home community. The tour will end at the clubhouse poolside oasis, which resembles a private water park within the community.
Guest will enjoy gaining some new home design and decorating ideas while sampling some tasty bites and signature cocktails, wines, and craft beers, including Service Brewing Co., Gerard Bertrand Wines, Post Meridiem Spirt Company, Chemist Gin and more. Culinary creations will be provided by Naan Appetit, Savannah Coffee Roasters, Taco Stache, The Club at Savannah Quarters®, with more participants still being confirmed.
