This choice might be controversial. However, lets be honest. If you know wings in the Hilton Head/Bluffton area, then you know that Orchid at One Hot Mama’s could win this award every single year. The product at OHM is that good. However, I was recently floored by some wings at R Bar in Bluffton. Ironically, in the location where Bluffton One Hot Mama’s used to be before they moved to the island around 2008.
Now, the wings, if you want straight up classic Buffalo Hot Wings, like you get in Buffalo? (Well, I assume because I’ve actually never been to Buffalo. I am a Miami Dolphins fan and we have rules against such Tomfoolery) The wings at R Bar deserve your attention. #LEGIT
For those that are unfamiliar, R Bar is a Sports Bar in Bluffton just off of 278 near the turn off to Highway 46. I’ve been told it is Bluffton’s dive bar, but I am having trouble believing that. R Bar is no dive. F&B Industry hangout? Absolutely. Dive? Not really. .The good thing about being an industry hang out? Good wings. Seriously. #LEGIT
