When Fork and Dagger opened their doors on the ground floor of quite possibly the worst looking building North of Gwinnett Street some people scoffed. “There’s no way I’m going in there.” They said “Couldn’t you have picked a better spot?” They say. Well, Brian Torres and Skyy Hoyt have had the last laugh. Why? When you offer good food at a good price, people will find you. And they have. The success of Fork and Dagger is a testament to one thing. You don’t need catchy marketing gimmicks or anything of the sort. If you offer a solid product, people will walk through fire wearing a gasoline suit to eat it.
There is nothing on the menu at Fork and Dagger that is over $10.00. A lot of options are $9.00. Nowadays that matters more than ever. When they opened, I called them Downtown Savannah’s best lunch deal. We are standing by it. Fork and Dagger is solid. And inexpensive.
