Josh Thomas has been catering events and weddings for years. He first jumped on our radar a few years ago after an event for a couple of hundred people in which everything was perfect. Still, there are a lot of caterers in the Savannah area. Many many that we love. It wasn’t until Josh expanded his operation to Whitemarsh Island and opened a restaurant next door that the game was changed here. The commercial kitchen is on one end of his space, a dining room clear across on the other. In the middle is the restaurant kitchen and it all hums perfectly. Don’t take our word for it, ask any of the island crowd that already know about J Thomas Kitchen and are usually there any night of the week.
Fried Chicken, Prime Steaks, Seafood, you name it. They have it and they do it well. You should know that one of the best slices of cheesecake I have ever had was their Oreo Cheesecake. My family and I fought over the last few pieces. Yes, it was that good and a must if you visit.
