One of the most anticipated restaurant openings we’ve seen in Bluffton in a while has finally arrived. Pomodori is now open on May River Road.

There was no formal announcement, Amanda Russ, Pomodori simply said “We are a chain!” in announcing her 2nd location at 1253 May River Road in Old Town Bluffton. Pomodori’s original location is on New Orleans Road on Hilton Head Island. It has been a locals favorite for over a decade.

Guests can order on-line at their Bluffton location and swing by for pick up, or eat in. There are roughly 40 outdoor seats surrounding the restaurant, but we must stress this is ONLY COUNTER SERVICE. There are no servers. There is a counter where you order, take a number and your food will be brought out to your table.

Beer and Wine is also available. As well as a restroom inside.

Pomodori will be open from 4pm until 8:00pm Monday through Saturdays.

So, make plans to stop by. Pomodori is solid Italian classics and some more. You will Eat It and Like It.
