Savannah Food Crawls: Book Signings, Signed copies and more

A funny thing happened on the way to the book store.

If you’ve been keeping score at home, then you probably know that I was part of a huge misunderstanding over the Summer. I spent most of it thinking my first book, Savannah Food Crawls, wasn’t going to be released until Spring of 2024. On September 1st I found out I was mistaken. It will be on the street next week October 1st.

Initial reviews have been great, with a good friend and fellow Savannah food lover telling me “I stayed up later than I should have reading it last night, but congratulations. This is EXACTLY what we needed in Savannah.” That was a good feeling.

So we’ve been busy in September setting up book signings and events to promote the book. The calendar is filling in nicely. There’s already a dinner in Savannah on October 15th and a scheduled event at Burnt Church Distillery in Bluffton on Thursday, October 26th. In and around all of that, we plan to set up at Farmer’s Markets across the area, a couple of Brunches and a wonderful dinner event on Hilton Head Island.

We plan to keep busy and hope to release a full schedule within a couple of days.

In the interim, something frankly that we had not thought of but were reminded about this week, there are a lot of you who not only follow us here at Eat It and Like It, but also visit Savannah fairly regularly but do not live in the area. Yes, you can order via Amazon.com right now, but we’ve gotten a number of requests for signed copies of the book.

You can purchase those here. The price includes tax and shipping. Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.

Call me biased, but I think this book makes for the PERFECT Christmas gift for anyone you know who is planning a visit to Savannah or enjoys visiting regularly. I was told last week that we entertain web traffic from 34 states across the US and 11 countries around the world. So the demand for a guide to Savannah’s best casual eats clearly exists. That’s pretty cool in my book.

If there are any questions, you can always find us at tips@eatitandlikeit.com. We look forward to seeing you all soon.
