Husk will be hosting their second annual Oyster Fundraising Party benefitting UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant on Monday, October 28 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. upstairs at the bar.
Exploring and promoting the region’s foodways is an essential pillar of Husk’s philosophy and ethos, and they are honored to have the opportunity to support the revitalization of the once thriving oyster industry in Georgia. Aiming to celebrate and raise awareness for the cause, guests will enjoy cocktails, oysters, as well as industry expert knowledge from special guest, Dan Williams of the University of Georgia (along with other Hatchery Specialists.)
The format for this event has changed. There is no longer a $35 donation required.
Husk will be offered Happy Hour prices and half priced oysters.
All money raised from the raffle, and a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales, will go to the UGA Oyster Hatchery.
