UPDATE: Because of the threat of high winds and rain from Hurricane Florence, the Equinox Band’s performance on September 17th was moved to Monday night, September 24th. They are debuting a new menu on the roof as well. We’ll see you there!
Jeremy Davis and The Fabulous Equinox Band are about as synonymous with a good time in Savannah as it gets. They regularly play their gigs around town, and around the country for that matter, in various forms and sizes. Every once in a while we get treated to their full orchestra.When we do, it is a treat.
That was the scene on Monday night, August 20th at Savannah’s newest rooftop bar Peregrin at The Perry Lane Hotel downtown. A packed house enjoyed one of the more enjoyable live music events we’ve seen in some time around here.
With the city of Savannah as a backdrop, a packed house swayed to the music. There was a tribute to the late Aretha Franklin, there was a Mardi Gras style ending. There were smiling faces from one end of the venue to the other. If you missed it, don’t worry. It will happen again.
Monday night, September 17th The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra will entertain for undoubtedly another full house. The best part? Admission is free.
Tables up front are available for $100, but otherwise, there is no charge except for any food or drink you may enjoy. Peregrin has a large bar and specialty small plates for sale as well. Allowing you the opportunity to Eat It and Like It.
The show gets started that night at 7pm. If you’d like to attend, we would suggest you arrive early.
