The only thing that kept Farm Bluffton from being named Best New Restaurant was the fact that they opened in 2016. Headed up by 3 friends with a passion for local, the aptly named Farm is to Bluffton what The Grey is to Savannah. Executive Chef Brandon Carter left the uber exclusive Palmetto Bluff a couple of years ago and joined forces with area farmer Ryan Williamson as well as Managing Partner Josh Heaton to create one of the best restaurants in the area, period. Their lunch time “Meat and 3” offerings keep it simple and their dinners are the kind you will talk about for days. What’s on the menu? For the most part, it is what is coming out of Ryan’s farm a few miles away. Yes, of course, some things they need to source from outside of the area, but when you can have a cocktail made with loquats from a tree down the street, then you know there is a passion for local.

I drove from Skidaway to eat lunch at Farm two days in a row last week. One day I had five vegetables and the next day an AMAZING perfect little hamburger with three veggies. What they do with vegetables is magic. I am begging them to self-publish a little veggie cookbook.
We agree! Thank you Claire!
