The coffee house scene is definitely among those with firm dividing lines among them. The Foundery, Foxy Loxy crowd loves their spots, Mate Factor downtown draws its crowd, and even Cutters Point Coffee in Sandfly does a great job with their coffees, bagels and sandwiches, but our go-to spot for Coffee and munchies is Savannah Coffee Roasters on Liberty Street. If you are in there at the right time of the day you can smell the roasting beans, or the baked goods being made in the back. All of it is made there. Their sandwiches are tasty (if not a smidge pricey in our book), but the location on Liberty Street – walking distance to the rest of downtown makes it hard to not give Savannah Coffee the nod for 2018.
