The name of the game at Harbour Town later this month is shrimp. As in the 1st annual Hilton Head Island Shrimp Festival, to be held Saturday, September 22nd in Sea Pines Plantation’s Harbour Town.
Over a dozen low country restaurants (and more being added every day) are scheduled to participate in this celebration of shrimp. “We have a number of great seafood events throughout the year here on Hilton Head Island” says Matt Roher, Culinary Director at Sea Pines “But we don’t have an event dedicated to the wonderful shrimp we have right here off of our coast.”
The 4 hour event will offer guests unlimited samplings from participating restaurants, craft beer, live music provided by Cranford Hollow and a kids area. That will include face painting, bounce houses and more.
Tickets to the event are only $20. With $2 of every ticket going to the Boys and Girls Club of Hilton Head Island.
