Hilton Head’s Lucky Rooster Kitchen and Bar hosting 4 day chef event during RBC Heritage

Lucky Rooster Kitchen + Bar is pleased to welcome four guest chefs and pitmasters from around the south for a culinary experience during the PGA TOUR’s RBC Heritage on Hilton Head Island. Although the RBC Heritage will be void of spectators on the course, Chef Clayton Rollison will be celebrating the 51st tournament with watch parties beginning Thursday, June 17th through Sunday, June 21st. Proceeds from each of the daily events will help benefit the Literacy Center of Hilton Head Island.

“It was crucial to us that we find a way to continue the tradition of celebrating our island’s iconic tournament and assisting in raising funds for the Literacy Center – so many of our local charities have been impacted this year and we hope we can help make a difference. What better way to do that by celebrating our seafood, barbeque and culinary culture of the Lowcountry” said Chef and Owner Clayton Rollison of Lucky Rooster Kitchen + Bar and Lucky Rooster Market Street. “We are creating a hands-on experience with virtual golf, large screen video broadcast of the tournament, spirits sponsors and visiting chefs that create a party all on their own. “Malibu Rum, Jefferson Bourbon, G.H. Mumm Champagne and Kenwood Vineyards will be here as Official Beverage Sponsors for guests to enjoy as well.”

HERE’S WHO IS JOINING THE PARTY:

• THURSDAY, JUNE 18 | CHARLES RUSSO, RUSSO’S FRESH SEAFOOD | BLUFFTON, SC

“Many times, the tournament atmosphere is based on the party at on the actual course. Food is often an afterthought which makes this experience much different. Although there won’t be spectators during play, we know guests that watch with us and finally get the best of all worlds – sports, culinary and charity” said Rollison.

In addition to four days of events over tournament play, Rollison has also reintroduced brunch to his weekend service. Brunch Service began this May Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
