We’re having a party and you, of course, are invited.
It would be very fair to say that we have done far more talking than doing around here when it comes to the next step of our Eat It and Like It brand. We’ve known for years that we would eventually roll out a “Drink It and Like It” version of our website and television show. ‘Eventually’ is now officially this Fall. And we are kicking it all off with a huge party, with a few beers of course.
This fall, we are partnering with our friends at Southbound Brewing Company to create 4 specialty beers. The beers are being created to be paired with beef. Where’s the beef? Well, we’ve asked 4 of the best chef talents in the region to prepare a beef dish to pair with those beers.
Michael Gottlieb – Gottlieb’s Bakery
Brandon Carter – FARM Bluffton
Josh Thomas – J Thomas Catering
The results will make up our Drink It and Like It Beef & Beer launch party. Guests will be invited to sample the beef dishes being paired with the beers. They will be given a tasting glass to enjoy the beers we’ve created and unlimited samples of the dishes our chefs will prepare. While those dishes are the headliners, there will additional bites as well as dessert.
The entire process, and the evening itself will be filmed for a future episode of Drink It and Like It.
Cost? $55 gets you a 5oz souvenir sample glass for unlimited tastes of the specialty beer created for the evening and all of the food. We are also offering a VIP ticket package. VIP ticket holders will be allowed early entry, tickets for other Southbound beers available that evening as well as a “Swag Bag” which will include a souvenir bottle of our 1st edition “Drink It and Like It” brew.
