Could the great news for Savannah business and tourism get any better? The latest pop comes in the form of a national TV appearance for Big Bon Pizza. They will be featured on Sunday Today, May 13th as part of a feature on Mother’s Day.
The segment was shot Tuesday night at a secret pop-up event on Jones Street in Downtown Savannah on the property of Judge Realty.
“We were so excited to be asked to be a part of this.” said Kaye Heritage, who along with her daughter Anna and the rest of their staff have created a food truck phenom with Big Bon. Essentially a brick oven on a trailer. Their pop ups are some of the most popular food events in the Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill region. Now they get to see their names in lights.
Sunday Today will air May 13th (Mother’s Day) at 8:00am on WSAV-TV, channel 3. Immediately following Eat It and Like It with Jesse Blanco. (but we know you already watch that, now dontcha?)
