Fried Shrimp along the Georgia/South Carolina coast can be a religious experience. When it is done well, it is crazy good. AJ’s has a reputation for having some of the best fried shrimp for 100 miles from their tucked away spot on Tybee Island. Gerald’s Pig and Shrimp is another go-to for us. But over a six week period we secretly taste-tested both of these spots for flavor and consistency. Your winner for 2018 is AJ’s Dockside.
