One Hot Mama’s is known on Hilton Head Island for having quite probably the best BBQ on the island. To this day, the best beef brisket I have ever had came from a cooking demo run by Chef Orchid Paulmeier. Many of you may remember Orchid from her run on Food Network’s “The Next Food Network Star”.
Her BBQ at OHM is legendary, but it wasn’t until recently that we discovered her chicken wings are the stuff dreams are made of.
The wings at One Hot Mama’s come in 22 different flavors. Of course there is hot. Of course there is Honey Mustard, but you will also find flavors like Strawberry Jalapeno, Honey Hula Hula (PIneapple, Ginger and Ghost Peppers) and Ranchenero (Ranch and Habanero). That is only a few. I have yet to have a wing at One Hot Mama’s that wasn’t every bit as amazing as you would think they’d be. No contest here. The winner by TKO is OHM on Hilton Head Island in the ‘Barmuda Triangle’.
