In Savannah, when you talk about ‘off of the beaten path’ the first place you need to mention is The Wyld. Formerly Bonna Bella Yacht Club and extremely popular with the locals, Chef/Owner Tony Seichrist came down from Atlanta and gave the entire operation an overhaul. Call it casual seafood with a tiny big city twist, The Wyld doesn’t disappoint with a seafood heavy menu, but there is a decent burger on there as well. The oysters Tony gets from May River in South Carolina, which he loves. They are probably the most popular in the region. The setting here is worth the drive alone. Click here for more
