Georgia-native + former Husk Savannah Sous Chef Jacob Hammer has taken the helm as Executive Chef this spring. Hammer has worked across some of the South’s most revered restaurants in addition to Husk, including Sundae Cafe, Noble Fare, The Grey, and Local 1110. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, priding himself on his strong relationships in the industry and the respect he’s garnered along the way. At Husk, he hopes to foster is an unforgettable guest experience with a sense of familiarity and surprise in each visit.
Jacob Hammer is the Executive Chef of Husk Savannah, Georgia’s outpost of the famed seasonally driven, Southern restaurant from The Neighborhood Dining Group. A native of the Peach State, longtime Savannah resident, and former Husk Savannah Executive Sous Chef, Hammer is honored to be welcomed back to the restaurant.
