- A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about a match made in heaven. Form II Table was going in to Cohen’s Retreat. Well, now that isn’t going to happen. It’s a pretty shocking turn of events. Look for my story this week.
- Form II Table will instead be operating at their original location on Habersham and providing dinner and Brunch service at Ampersand, located at the corner of Congress and MLK Blvd. Again, more this week.
- Hearing good early returns from Funky Brunch Cafe on Broughton Street.
- Great news for our friends at Pie Society in Pooler. They will soon be opening a location in Savannah’s City Market. If you haven’t made the drive out to Pooler yet, you are in for a treat downtown.
- New menus coming very soon at Noble Fare in Savannah and Nosh in Bluffton. I’ll share when I get them.
- Piggy Burritos at Tequila’s Town. Do it.
- If you enjoy wine dinners, there is one you should know about coming up on Friday at the South Carolina Yacht Club. This is something unlike anything we have seen before in this area. Top Chef Contestant, Kevin Cavanaugh, on Hilton Head Island. It’s going to be a great night.
- Meanwhile, if you missed all the fun planned at AquaCurean on this side of the river, April 25-27, click here. This is going to be an amazing event.
- Something else to look out for during April? Adam Turoni’s Easter chocolate line. Creative, beautiful, and I’m quite certain tasty. I wouldn’t know just yet, I gave up sweets for lent.
- Beer Growler at the corner of Liberty and Drayton in Savannah is having a few Georgia Tap Takeovers this week. Your chance to meet some craft beer makers and taste a few different beers.
- Stay in the loop. Sign up for our newsletter. Twice a month we send you a review/preview of great things going on in the area’s food scene.
