Fans of our Fried Chicken and Champagne dinners will be happy to know we are planning to do it again. This time, we are taking our show on the road, if you will, with a stop in Pooler.

A few weeks ago, I was approached by the good people behind Miss Sophie’s Restaurant inside of the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum in Pooler.  They asked if we’d be interested in hosting a similar dinner there.

My initial thought was, it was a great opportunity to host such an enjoyable evening outside of Downtown Savannah.  Yes, it’s nice to come downtown, but so many of you try to avoid it when you can. We know that.

Add to that, the opportunity to showcase another beautiful venue with delicious food that, we are guessing, a lot of you have never visited before. It’s a treasure in Savannah.

This was a unique opportunity to dine (as they put it) ‘under the wings’ at the Mighty 8th.  The dinner will be in their museum, not inside Miss Sophie’s Restaurant area.   So, we are going for it.

If you’ve not had the pleasure of enjoying Miss Sophie’s eats, you will very much enjoy their offerings. Chef Shahin Afsharian is a classically trained chef.   This dinner will be a great one. Same as it ever was: All the fried chicken and select sides you’d like along with bottomless bubbles. Details are below
