There are a lot of great restaurants in Savannah that locals enjoy. Vic’s on the River, The Olde Pink House, Garbabaldi and The Grey are just a few. We chose to add Circa 1875 for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that CIrca’s Gastropub bar is probably the most popular in town with locals. At least the downtown crowd. On any given Thursday or Friday night, the scene at Circa’s bar is a who’s who of Savannah. On the other side is the restaurant (pictured). Chef David Landrigan is one of the city’s most consistent and best chefs. Cuisine is classic french. Minus a ton of pretense. A solid job all the way around all of the time. We chose Circa to add to this list for the scene and the food. All of it is great. But so are the others we mentioned as well.
