In what has become something of an annual tradition downtown Savannah, Circa 1875 is throwing a party to celebrate Bastille Day, July 14th. Bastille Day is a national holiday in France commemorating the day of the storming of the Bastille in France. A major turning point in the French revolution.
History lessons aside, Circa 1875, Savannah’s locally owned French Brasserie has been known to create quite the celebration in honor of this day. This year will be no different. There will be a crepe station up front at the bar creating your favorite sweet or savory crepes, a strolling accordion player and a few dancing girls. After all, this is a French party, right?
Admission is free. There are no ‘cover’ charges. Just come on out, have a good time with a glass of your favorite beverage and Eat It and Like It this Saturday night.
