Spring has sprung in the Lowcountry! The beautiful spring weather and the blossoms popping out everywhere beckon us to get outside and to enjoy this perfect time of year. They also turn our thoughts towards getting out and traveling to other beautiful places in God’s world. Would you like to get a head start on traveling by letting your taste buds do the traveling? You won’t want to miss being part of the “Taste Traveler . . . Take-Off!” Whole-Food Plant-Based Supper Club on April 14!

The Whole-Food Plant-Based Supper Club is a quarterly event on Hilton Head Island that provides whole-person health education. Participants pay a reservation fee which gives them the opportunity to eat a tasty, whole-food, plant-based meal. Dr. Karen Holland demonstrates how to prepare the meal that is being served in addition to providing cutting edge news in nutritional science and lifestyle medicine. Each supper club also comes with an inspirational talk to keep participants motivated on their journey, drawings for free prizes, and the infamous “Oxygen Cocktail!” Recipes are e-mailed to attendees after the meeting.

This Supper Club is perfect for the person beginning to experiment with a plant-based diet and wanting great-tasting simple-to-prepare recipes/meals for themselves and their families. . . to the experienced whole-food plant-based individual who enjoys expanding their food and health horizons.
