By now we all know about Doki Doki on Bull Street. If you don’t, you should.
They made some changes last week. Gone is the ice cream, replaced by frozen yogurt, with all (and I mean ALLLLL) of the toppings.
The concept is simple. Four flavors, all made in house. There’s even a Greek yogurt flavor, so you can pretend you’re sticking to your diet.
Then you build your cup: fruit, sauces, gummies, you name it. Even warm chocolate chip cookies. There are over 30 options in all. When you’re done, you weigh it and pay by the ounce. Right now it’s 85 cents per pound.
Doki Doki is owned by Southern Cross Hospitality, the group behind Collins Quarter, Fitzroy, La Vetta and others. This wasn’t a whim. The move was carefully thought out and researched at top fro yo spots in New York City. It’s something Savannah didn’t have. Now we do.
It’s fun for the kids, but more importantly, it’s delicious.
Wondering about the gelato? Still there, with all their funky flavors. Best of both worlds if you ask me.
