2nd Annual Food Truck Festival Returns to Eastern Wharf
Eastern Wharf, a vibrant, inviting destination overlooking the Savannah River at 101 Port St. in Savannah, Ga., is delighted to host the second annual Eastern Wharf Food Truck Festivalon Saturday, November 15 from 1 to 6 p.m. This free, family-friendly event is the Lowcountry’s biggest and tastiest food truck festival and will feature more than 30 food trucks showcasing the breadth and depth of the region’s growing food truck scene, plus high-energy live music throughout the afternoon
“For the second year in a row, we’re bringing together the best regional food vendors and four of Savannah’s most iconic bands to represent the breadth and depth of our local music talent for one amazing festival on Savannah’s beautiful riverfront,” said Eastern Wharf Executive Director Kayne Lanahan. “We’re excited to expand this year’s offerings to more than 30 food trucks from up and down the Georgia and South Carolina coast.”
The second annual Eastern Wharf Food Truck Festival will feature food trucks serving Asian, Latin, Jamaican and Caribbean dishes as well as classic American fare and Southern favorites, from smoked BBQ to fresh seafood.
Participating local food trucks include 520 Wings, Bowtie Barbecue, Molly’s Fish & Chips, Vida Fresh by Latin Chicks, The Big Cheese, Sweet Spice Mobile, King of Pops, Bayou Cafe Food Truck, Keller Wood Fire Pizza, Ark Royal Burgers, Little Diddle’s Sweetery, The Red Taco Truck, Philly Boyz Cheesesteaks, Mac Attack, Krazian, Royal Tasty Avenue Food Truck, The Naked Dog, Slow Fire BBQ, Starship Ice Cream, The Cone Ranger, WagginWheels, Nieve with Love and Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffee & Smoothies.
In addition, regional food trucks will include Wild Caught Seafood from Fayetteville, Ga.; Miso Hungry from Statesboro, Ga.; Don Ques Southern BBQ, La Taqueria Oaxaquena and Shake It Up Milkshake Bar from Brunswick, Ga.; and Oakan, Orale and Low Country Lobster from Bluffton, S.C.
Attendees can also enjoy free, live performances throughout the afternoon by some of Savannah’s top local bands, including acclaimed country crooners Lyn Avenue, talented indie rock trio Whaleboat, favorite bluegrass band the Salt Flat Pickers and soulful blues ensemble Willie Jackson and the Tybee Blues Band.
