Tybee Island Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is a Tybee Island legend. Multi-time winner of our Eat It and Like It Foodie Award for Best Breakfast. So good, that it’s not at all uncommon for ‘mainlanders’ in Savannah or surrounding islands to take an occasional ride out there for breakfast or lunch. A traditional greasy spoon in all of its glory, owner Jodee Sadowsky loves running his griddle top. Sausages are made in house, the burritos are outstanding, the omelettes as good as you will find anywhere on the East Coast. Yes, that’s saying something. Oh by the way, if it’s good enough for JFK, Jr. and his bride once upon a time, it’s good enough for the rest of us. Sadowsky famously assisted in the catering of that couple’s wedding on Cumberland Island National Seashore back in 1996. The Blackhawk Burrito with homemade chorizo, 2 eggs, onions, jalapenos, jack and american cheeses is worth the drive alone. Click here for more
