Sometimes for all the success someone can enjoy, the best reward comes with earning the respect of your peers. Now you can count Savannah’s Candy Man Adam Turoni among those being recognized by a national publication. Chocolat by Adam has been named a Top 10 Chocolatier in America by Dessert Professional Magazine, a leader in the dessert industry.
Adam opened his first chocolate studio in Savannah in 2010. In no time at all, he had outgrown the space and opened is first retail location on Broughton Street in Savannah. In 2015 he opened a second location on Bull Street. The two locations are complimentary of each other. Broughton Street is his “Chocolate Dining Room” while the Bull Street location is a “Chocolate Library.” Some items are available at both spots, but each carry items exclusive to their locations as well.
Adam is currently producing up to 20 truffle varieties along with 4 or 5 seasonal offerings. They range from his very popular Milk or Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups with Sea Salt, to the award winning Honeycomb Chocolate Bar featuring Savannah Bee Honey.
Adam will be honored at the first-ever Top Ten Chocolatiers in North America industry and media event on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at The Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in New York City.
