Crystal Beer Parlor is a Savannah institution. If you know about Georgetown’s Martin’s Tavern, this is Savannah’s answer to that. Owned by a Savannah native, John Nichols, he has dedicated his culinary effort to not only great comfort foods, but a collection of historic memorabilia unmatched anywhere in the city and its all up on the walls of the restaurant. The space 1st opened in 1933. The 45 minute wait on the weekends will tell you how strong the following is with the locals. Everything we’ve had on the menu is great.
