It seems like the trend with coffee shops is to be dark. Most of them anyway. You think about the vibe inside of Starbucks and it is always dark woods. The independent shops typically go the same route. Blends is different. Sitting on the corner of Broughton and Drayton Streets downtown, Blends is bright, cheerful and inviting.
