It’s hard to believe it has been almost a year since we last got together to celebrate the best in food from Savannah and the Low Country. Summer vacation is right around the corner, another successful season of our television show is nearing an end and we are throwing a huge party. You are invited of course.
The 2016 Eat It and Like It Foodie Awards will be held on Sunday night, May 22nd at The Brice Hotel in downtown Savannah. As in years past, the area is invited to join our award winners at what amounts to an ‘after party.’ It’s not an awards show at all, winners are notified in advance. This is the celebration of all of their hard work.
Categories include some favorites like Best Burger, Best Dessert and Best Chef you may have never heard of. This year we shuffled the deck a little bit and will be announcing a few categories as we get closer to the party on May 22nd.
The nuts and bolts are set. Guests are invited for one time price of $35. That will include two drink tickets for wine and beer. Food is unlimited and has always been unbelievable. This year will be no different. More on that (and the menu) later.
Don’t delay, tickets are limited. The first two events have sold out. 2015’s party sold out days in advance, we are expecting this same this year.
