Pizza and bagels may not seem the most natural pairing at first, but Big Bon’s wood-fired offerings have claimed a devoted following for good reason. Fresh bagels with any number of spreads are offered, of course, but it’s the warm toasted bagel sandwiches where this busy Bull Street locale truly shines as a Savannah “must-try.” The creatively-named menu ranges from simple egg and cheese for a quick breakfast on the go, to the more adventurous Pimento Pig, Bon Mi, or Korean Mama to name just a select few. From the quality of the eats to the service with a smile, it’s easy to see why they receive national attention and local adoration. Big Bon has also added a 2nd location in suburban Pooler, Georgia.
