E Tang Ramen and Noodle Bar now open in Downtown Savannah

If you’ve been following along closely, then you know that Savannah favorite for Chinese food E-Tang has been popping up across the landscape fairly fast and furious in the last few months. A couple of months ago, E Tang Dim Sum opened on Whitaker Street in Downtown Savannah. At the time we were told a couple more locations were on the way.

E Tang Ramen and Noodle Bar is now open, and it’s delicious.

We got a sneak preview at the menu this week. Complete with Korean Hot Pots, some dumpling dishes and soups. All of it delicious.

Their Grand Opening will be Friday, November 8th.

For those not familiar with the E Tang brand, they came on the Savannah scene in 2021 at the intersection of Ogelthorpe and Price Streets in Savannah. They very quickly developed a following with locals-and particularly the F&B community for the quality of their food.

Since then, they opened location on Hilton Head Island. In August they opened their Dim Sum location at 10 Whitaker Street. Two weeks ago, E Tang opened a Bluffton location on Highway 170 in Okatie (101 Commerce Place) and now this one, the noodle bar.

Owner David Chen tells me work is underway for a final location in region in Pooler at 110 Towne Center Drive in the space formerly occupied by Molly MacPherson’s.

The space at the Ramen and Noodle Bar is beautiful. Roughly 18 tables fill the room which has windows looking out on to Whitaker Street and the very popular Circa 1875 directly across the street.

Menus may vary from location to location but you can find more about E-Tang and see their menus now here.
