This Saturday marks the spring opening for the Islands Farmers Market returns to Whitemarsh Island.
The market followed CDC guidelines last year in order to maintain social distancing and will continue to do that this year as well. This includes vendors wearing masks, hand washing stations, and plenty of hand sanitizer available at booths.
Debbie Fischer from the Islands Farmers Market tells us that most of your favorite vendors will be back with fresh produce, honey, meat, and more.
She said that the vendors are running the market now. Debbie said this should make the market run smoother and have fewer transitions.

Spring Market is Saturday, February 29, from 9 a.m. to noon at 401 Quarterman Drive.
