Vittoria Savannah to host one night Pizza Party in Port Royal
It’s hard to believe but it has been 10 years since Savannah chef Kyle Jacovino first began making pizza in this city. Long before Starland Yard opened in 2019, Kyle was Executive Chef at The Florence. It was the first time we were introduced to the true art of the Neapolitan pie in this town. He hasn’t looked back. Pizzeria Vittoria is widely regarded as Savannah’s finest pizza. Well now, Kyle’s taking his show on the road. Even if it is only for one night.
Next Monday, June 24th, Kyle Jacovino in collaboration with Southern Fork Podcast, will be hosting a pizza party in Port Royal, South Carolina.
It is being described as one part pizza making class and one part pizza party. Of course, you will get to enjoy some of Kyle’s creations plus you will pick up some tips on how to make them at home from one of the best pizza makers in the South.
Before he moved to Savannah, Kyle spent months traveling throughout Italy learning the art of the pie. I’ve personally had many conversations with him about his art. His knowledge and passion for it are at the top of any pizza makers from Charleston to Jacksonville. Yes, he is that talented and yes, the pizzas are that good.
They’ll have plenty of light reds and white wines to pair with the seasonal pizzas, and you’ll come away with more knowledge to up your pizza game at home, that’s almost guaranteed.
We are told seats are in limited supply, so you will need to grab one early by purchasing a ticket. You can do so by clicking here.
