If you know, you know. Trick’s BBQ has been a Savannah institution for years — the kind of place where the smoke hits you before you even park the car. Their run at 2601 Bull Street in the Starland District built a loyal following that didn’t flinch at lines, cash only, or selling out before dinner. That’s just how it works when the BBQ is that good.

When that Bull Street property sold in the summer of 2024, Trick’s made the move west to 1902 Bay Street. It was a new spot, but the same deal — show up, get your food, be happy. Then on December 29th, 2025, they announced Bay Street would be their last day, and the search for a new home was on.

That search is over.

Trick’s is setting up at 1218 Waters Avenue, right at the corner of Henry Street —it’s a great fit. The Waters Avenue corridor is slowly becoming one of the more interesting stretches in the city, and a legendary BBQ joint anchoring part of it only adds to that momentum.

They’ll be open Tuesday through Sunday starting at 11am. You already know the drill — when it’s gone, it’s gone. So show up early, bring your appetite, and welcome Tricks back where they belong, in the heart of Savannah.
