Pinkie Master’s is Savannah’s most popular dive bar. Few would argue that. If you were going to brawl over who is second? Or 1A maybe? It’s The Rail. Strong drinks, karaoke, and fried chicken? Sign us up.
This two-story bar has a long history of making people happy.
In 2018 Food and Wine Magazine named it Best Dive Bar in America. Yes, it is a fantastic watering hole. Certainly a younger crowd than the others because it’s proximity to other watering holes.
There’s karaoke every night starting at 9, free fried chicken on Fridays, and a courtyard that offers everything from live music to arts and crafts markets.
And while you’re there, take a closer look at the decorations hanging on the walls. You’ll notice something new and strange every time you visit.
Closest Eats: Located on Congress Street there is no shortage of options to eat. Next door is Congress Street Social Club as well as Boomy’s. Across the square you will find Savannah’s Legendary Vinnie Van Go Go’s Pizza. Available by the slice, yes. But Vinnie’s doesn’t do late night. Check yo’ self.
