Old World Christmas Dinner at Stone & Webster Chophouse. Plant Riverside District – Savannah, Ga.’s most exciting destination for dining, shopping and live entertainment – will host a special five-course Old World Christmas Dinner at Stone & Webster Chophouse on Wednesday, Dec. 14. This culinary extravaganza, which is open to the public, serves as the inaugural event in the new Stone & Webster Signature Dining Series.
Stone & Webster’s accomplished culinary team will take guests on an unforgettable journey featuring seafood-inspired hors d’oeuvres as well as traditional Old World Christmas dishes with a special twist. Wine expert Antoine Collett will offer insight into the European wines that will be perfectly paired with holiday-inspired culinary masterpieces from the kitchen.
Featured hors d’oeuvres include baked bay scallops, oysters with caviar, grilled lobster and crab salad tarts. Menu highlights include braised boneless short rib with pomme anna, roasted guinea hen with truffles and mushrooms, gorgonzola-stuffed tortellini served in a prosciutto consommé and chestnut mousse with dark chocolate sponge cake and vanilla sable.
