St. Augustine’s Boat Drinks Completes their move “Uptown”

Boat Drinks, one of the most popular casual eats spots in a city filled with them, St. Augustine, has completed their move away from the center of Old Town and settled into their new digs in the very up and coming “Uptown” section of St. Augustine.

The new space at 123 San Marco Avenue will open to the public on Thursday, March 27th.

The move has been in the works for a bit and required them to close their downtown space at 56 St. George Street for nearly 3 months while they moved all of their systems and decor out of Old Town and into the Uptown space. Boat Drinks had been downtown for roughly 5 years. In that time, they developed a solid following for not only their exceptional cocktail program, but solid casual eats, including fresh seafood, datil shrimp sliders, fish bites, jerk chicken skewers, Caribbean caviar, and sandwiches.

They also feature an under the radar fantastic smash burger and the best Grouper Sandwich I personally have ever had.

The Outdoor Patio at the new Boat Drinks will be very popular when the weather is cooperating

While we don’t have numbers for the size of the new space, it is significantly bigger, albeit minus their upstairs space and balcony. The latter of which was very popular as well overlooking St George Street in the heart of Old Town St. Augustine.

The decor and lighting are impeccable. An outdoor bar and patio figures to be very popular year round.

We look forward to chatting with either “Co-Captain” at Boat Drinks Whitney or Rob on our podcast soon. We’ll keep you posted.
