By now, everyone in Savannah has seen the post from Slutty Vegan, Atlanta’s famous vegan comfort food restaurant, about coming to the Hostess City. Though details are slim, we did some digging and found out a little more.
The original post didn’t say anything except for “Savannah” and a caption to text a phone number. Now we do know that January 13th was the third anniversary of their flagship restaurant on Atlanta’s Ralph David Abernathy Blvd., but they also have locations on Edgewater Ave. and in Jonesboro and Duluth. Slutty Vegan has also been hard at work with their food truck traveling all over the South. There are also plans to open new locations to some degree in Birmingham and Athens.
Slutty Vegan may be a vegan burger joint, but it has quickly won over omnivores all over. Before the food truck arrives in Savannah, do yourself a favor and check out their menu online.
We know a lot of you have been holding out hope that the Instagram post was alluding to a new location opening in Savannah. For that, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. We have official word that the “Big Ol’ Slut” food truck is coming to town Saturday, January 29. No word yet on where the truck will be, but you can text SAVANNAH to (678) 846-3255 for updates. The restaurant is texting out updates as we get closer to their arrival.
