We know that when it comes to holidays that celebrate parents, dads normally get the short end of the stick.
“When it’s Mother’s Day, it’s all over the place. It’s packed. People are coming in for brunch,” said Arthur Sertorio, Food & Beverage General Manager for The Alida. “But when it comes to Father’s Day, there’s not as much activity.”
If the past year has taught us anything, it’s how important time spent with loved ones is. This Father’s Day, Rhett, The Alida’s signature restaurant, is making it simple to show your dad, spouse, grandfather, or father-in-law how much you appreciate them with a whiskey tasting.
On Sunday, June 20th, there will be a complimentary tasting of Fiddler Bourbon, Resurgens Rye, Tire Fire Single Malt, and Duality Double Malt from American Spirit Whiskey, a whiskey producer based out of Atlanta.
“At the end of the day, when it comes to quality whiskey, [American Spirit Whiskey] is what I would say is the best one,” said Arthur.
Arthur also said there will also be a small menu of suggested mixed drinks that can be made using the whiskeys.
The tasting will start at 11 a.m., and while Arthur doesn’t expect it to be too packed, it’s probably not a bad idea to show up before noon.
Once your done treating Dad to some complimentary whiskeys, you can also enjoy lunch or dinner at Rhett.
