We’ve heard from so many people in the last 12-14 months asking about this event. Well it gives us tremendous pleasure to finally share the fact that we are back in business.
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.
The 5th (not annual because of last year) Eat It and Like It Fried Chicken and Champagne event will return in January and it promises to be our best yet. It will be held Wednesday night, January 19th at 6pm in the Perry Lane Hotel in Downtown Savannah.
Unlike past years, this will be a one night only event. We are expecting another sell out, just as all of our other events have been.
Chef Jeff Axline will be offering some of their signature sides from Emporium Kitchen and Market. Plus unlimited fried chicken.
Chef Jeff is excited about the event and quickly added “I’d put our fried chicken up against anyone.” Unfortunately, you cannot find it on the regular menu at Emporium Kitchen. If you’d like to try it, you will have to join us for dinner on the 19th.
A lot of people will be asking about champagne. While we cannot commit to having a particular brand on our list, Perry Lane Sommelier Amir Adane’s first demand was that we only have true champagne. I’m a fan of some Cavas, so we can arm wrestle about that later, but the point here being the quality of bubbles will be great.
As with anything else, supply chain issues will dictate what we can pour. Too many restaurants are having trouble getting anything in, much less the quantity that we will need that night.
So, all of that said, this will be a fabulous evening. We can tell you that we released ticket sales to guests that have attended this event in the past. That was a promise we made them 2 years ago as a reward for their loyalty. The point? As you read this, 30-40% of our tickets have already been sold. We would suggest you grab them quickly if you would like to attend.
Once again, we will not be adding a 2nd night to this event. THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT.
