More great news for Savannah’s developing food scene.
When FARM Bluffton Executive Chef Brandon Carter shared that he had eyes for Savannah a few years ago, it was hard to contain my excitement. What Chef and his staff had done for a few years in Bluffton was fantastic. It is the best restaurant on that side of the Savannah River. Easy.
Now, 18 or so months into their run here in Savannah, they are finally getting some well-deserved national love. Common Thread has been named to Bon Appétit’s list of 50 best new restaurants in America for 2022.
“Being able to showcase the Savannah
culinary scene on a national scale is truly an
honor,”“Chef de Cuisine Joseph Harrison, Executive Sous Chef Victor
Common Thread Executive Chef and Owner Brandon Carter
Solano, General Manager/Wine Director Libby
Burk and an amazing support staff are truly
the reason we are able to do what we do. We
are honored and humbled to be recognized
by such a respected organization as Bon
Appètit.”

Housed in the historic Krouskoff House at 37th and Abercorn in Savannah, Common Thread was founded on the commitment of producing, providing and serving locally sourced foods while also celebrating the community relationships that are created by this goal.
