Residents near the Savannah’s Sandfly/Isle of Hope neighborhoods will be happy to know a new neighborhood breakfast/lunch/dinner restaurant is a few weeks away from opening their doors.
The 5 Spot, already one of Midtown Savannah’s more popular neighborhood eateries at Habersham Village will be expanding into the Shops at Sandfly Shopping Center 7360 Skidaway Road.
The news is a shot in the arm for not only the neighborhood, but for a shopping center that has never been the same since its supermarket anchor closed its doors 6 years ago.
Since then, several restaurants have made their way into the neighborhood including the very popular Tequila’s Town, Castaways Sandfly, Rocky’s of Savannah NY Deli and Auspicious Baking Company.
The 5 Spot will now join Loc’s Chicken and Waffles as the only locations in the area to offer full service breakfasts.
5 Spot Sandfly joins B. Matthew’s Eatery, 5 Spot Habersham Village, 5 Spot on Broughton and Abe’s on Lincoln as part of the Gaslight Group family of restaurants.
