This ongoing series pairs authentic Mexican-inspired cuisine with acclaimed tequilas and international tequila experts, offering an interactive learning experience about spirits, food and culture. Every month, top tequila brand ambassadors will be on hand to lead attendees through guided tastings, offering the opportunity to sample special selections that are rarely seen in Savannah.
The 2024 Catadores Club Tequila Dinner schedule features tequila brands, which will be strategically paired with creative Mexican cuisine designed to complement the featured spirits.

March 21, 2024 – 6:00pm: El Tesoro Tequila
El Tesoro is known as “the Treasure of Jalisco”, crafted in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico for generations. Several exquisite El Tesoro Tequilas will be on the tasting menu on March 21 accompanied by these delicious dishes under the direction of Chef Luis Lopez Bueno.
1st course: Wagyu Salpicon Wagyu Beef, Tamarind Sauce, Tequila Dressing, Watercress, Cured Egg Yolk
2nd course: Veracruz Bocoles Three Ways Crispy Masa Filled with Beans and Avocado Leaves, Beef in Salsa Verde and Squash Blosom with corn
3th course: Quail with Mole de Novia Roasted Quail marinated in Avocado Leaf Butter served with White Mole, Pickled Grapes and Roasted Pinenuts
4th course: Mil Hojas Dulce de Leche, Tequila Strawberries, Vanilla Ice Cream
