Years ago it was created to fill in a gap left behind by the departure of a Senior PGA Tour event at the Westin Savannah Harbor. Now it has become a anticipated event every year attended by thousands of locals as well as tourists.
Savannah’s Gourmet Seafood and Spirits Festival is back for year number 8. It will be held August 22-28, 2021 at various locations all over town.
Eat It and Like It has teamed with with the festival this year to assist in event programming for the week. Highlights to date include Seafood and Sunsets at The Wyld Dock Bar in Savannah. As well as last year’s best event, Bubbles and Pearls on the roof of the Drayton Hotel.
There will be more added by the end of June.
Also part of the fun this year is the return of Savannah Restaurant Week. That will happen Friday August 20 through Sunday August 29th. Nine days of prix fixe menus all over Savannah. Just as it has been for many years in the past.
This year, restaurants will be given a choice of price points. Three courses for $30 or $35 or $40. Individual restaurants will determine which category they participate in. Beyond that, several beverage partners/sponsors are setting up to offer a variety of specialty cocktails for the week and much more.
