THE CUISINE:
There was a time when Savannah’s brunch scene was anemic at best. Saturday brunch? ha ha ha. Comical. The Collins Quarter was the first to really change the game. Opened in Summer of 2014 as an Australian style coffee house, The Collins Quarter has delivered the goods ever since.
THE MOOD:
CQ was created to be welcoming to everyone and it is. A business lunch seated right next to a student catching up on some homework? Yes. A beautiful space, with a good looking bar as well. VERY underrated for dinner.
BEST FOR:
CQ has Savannah’s best coffee program for a full service restaurant. Period. 2nd place isn’t close. Food is great, the people watching is also some of the best in town. Oh and their champagne list is outstanding as well. Think we like it?
WHAT YOU’LL LOVE:
On a pretty day, sitting outside and enjoying a great meal and coffee. The burger and the Australian Iced Coffee. Ice Cream, whole milk, two shots of espresso. Yeah, that.
WHAT YOU WON’T:
On weekends, if you don’t get there early enough, you are going to wait. For a while. It is that popular.
